have a couple new videos for you. internet at our house has been pretty good lately. when it’s on. days can be non-existent, but evenings/nights and weekends is totally usable. and i have learned to run my 50MB movies through imovie to export a decent quality 3MB movie to youtube. glad it works! i wasn’t sure if we’d be able to share videos from uganda. enjoy!
paige just wrote about working with/without odin here in uganda. here is an example: paige on a conference call with minneapolis HQ and the tanzania field office while nursing in bed. when it seems like the day isn’t fun, she reminds herself that there are few job opportunities out there where a new mother could do this. of note, you can see all our mosquito netting and odin’s crib lashed to the side of the bed.
odin went swimming this weekend! he’s been dipped in water before and takes some baths in the sink, but this is his first swim. the water was effing cold but after two seconds of shock, odin was totally fine with it. this pool is where we used to live. our first six months in uganda. luc & majo, with children bo & linus are still there and you can see and hear them in the background.

A pool! Etienne would LOVE a pool! He is a crazy froggy at bathtime. He did take his first trip up to the big lake this weekend, but it was far to cold for any swimming!
